Government Scholarships for Higher Studies

1. Department of Social Justice and Empowerment

( Post Matric Scholarship for SC Category Students)

Eligibility Criteria:

 

1. Candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes so specified in relation to the State/Union Territory to which the applicant     actually belongs

2. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum

Benefits:

1. Maintenance allowance,

2. Tuition Fees of the Institute

3. Examination Fees

4. Other (Like book allowance, Thesis typing/printing etc.)

2. Department of Social Justice and Empowerment

(Post Matric Scholarship for Physical Disabled Students)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The students having less than 40% disability (Certified by competent medical authority of the state Governments/UTs.) are not eligible

2. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum

Benefits:

1. Maintenance allowance,

2. Tuition Fees of the Institute

3. Examination Fees

4. Other (Like book allowance, Thesis typing/printing etc.)

Eligibility Criteria:

 

1. Candidates who belong to OBC so specified in relation to the State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs 2. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum

Benefits:

1. Maintenance allowance,

2. Tuition Fees of the Institute

3. Examination Fees

4. Other (Like book allowance, Thesis typing/printing etc.) (* Maximum 50,000/- per Annum)

4. Ministry of Tribal Affairs

(Post Matric Scholarships for ST Category Students)

Eligibility Criteria:

 

1. Candidates who belong to OBC so specified in relation to the State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs 2. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum

Benefits:

1. Maintenance allowance,

2. Tuition Fees of the Institute

3. Examination Fees

4. Other (Like book allowance, Thesis typing/printing etc.) (* Maximum 50,000/- per Annum)

5. Ministry of Minority Affairs

(Post Matric Scholarships for Minority Category Students)

Eligibility Criteria:

1.Candidates who belong to Minority Castes so specified in relation to the State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs (Muslim, Christian, Shikh, Buddh, Jain and Parsi (Religious minorities))

2.Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum

Benefits:

1.Maintenance allowance ( Rs. 5,000/- per annum for Day Scholar & Rs 10,000/- per annum for Hosteller)

2.Tuition Fees of the Institute (*Admission Fees and Tuition fees are granted as paid fees by students or maximum Rs. 3,000/- to 10,000/- )

6. Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana, Gujarat State

Eligibility Criteria:

1.Candidates who got more than 90 percentile in HSC- Science or HSC General Stream from Gujarat Board or from other Board.

2.Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 4,50,000/- per annum

Benefits:

1.Maintenance allowance ( Rs. 12,000/- per annum)

2.Tuition Fees of the Institute (In Professional Programs: Admission Fees and Tuition fees are granted minimum of either Rs. 50,000/- or Half of the actual Fees )

3.Book/Instrument Allowance (Rs 5,000/- One time only)
