Program Outcomes (PO) for Bachelor of Computer Applications

 

POs are statements that describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. The program outcomes for Bachelor of Computer Applications are  as follows:

Student has:

PO 1: An ability to apply the fundamental knowledge of computer science and applications.

PO 2: An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data

PO 3: An ability to design computer applications to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic and ethical

PO 4: An ability of life-long learning

PO 5: An ability to apply soft skills in their professional career.

PO 6: An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern computer application tools for software development.

PO 7: An ability to design and implement by evaluating a computer-based system or program to meet desired needs.

PO 8: An ability to apply design and development principles of mathematical foundations and computer science theory in the construction of software systems of lower level complexity.

PO 9: An ability to analyze a problem by identifying and defining the computing requirements, appropriate to its solution.

PO 10: An ability to be a successful entrepreneur and a leader.

Student has:

PO 1: An ability to apply the fundamental knowledge of computer science and applications.

PO 2: An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data

PO 3: An ability to design computer applications, software and tools to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, social and ethical.

PO 4: An ability to identify, formulate, and solve computer science problems

PO 5: The broadness in education is necessary to understand the impact of computer application solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context

PO 6: An ability of life-long learning

PO 7: The knowledge of contemporary issues of computer science and applications field.

PO 8: An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern computer application tools for software development.

PO 9: An ability to design and implement by evaluating a computer-based system, process, component, or program to meet desired needs.

PO 10: An ability to apply algorithmic principles and computer science theory in the modelling and design of computer-based systems in a way that demonstrates the comprehension of the tradeoffs, involved in design choices.

PO 11: An ability to apply soft skills in their professional career.
