REPORT – CONDUCTION OF ONE DAY WORKSHOP

TITLE OF THE WORKSHOP – HIGH IMPACT PRESENTATION SKILLS FOR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

he workshop began with a small energizer Apple, Orange, Banana. Later, facilitator hooked the audience by asking them to recall the best presentation they have attended so far. Through probing questions audience was made to realizeWhat Exactly left an impact on their mind. 

It further led to Brainstorming Activity wherein, participants were divided in groups of 5 and each group had to List down the challenges in various aspects of Presentation Skills 

A mini presentation of what they listed as challenges was shared by each group.  As a solution to audience, facilitator delivered a presentation on High Impact Presentation Skills for Professional Growth while explaining the process of designing and delivering presentation and NOT just highlighting Dos and Donts| .

Participants were given a situation that they had to apply for one day workshop on Stress Management and had to apply for CPD. Their first step was to design an individual mind map and then later had to share their ideas in the group and collectively they had to make a proposal for the said CPD application while charting out entire detail for the workshop.

Rubrics were identified by the group and each group presented their plan/proposal one by one. Group 3 was the winner but all in all they learnt that the process was the key to have greater impact on audience for Presentation Skills. 

Feedback received conveys that the workshop was highly appreciated and was damn successful.
