School of Pharmacy, RK University organized a two-day training program ‘Drug Discovery and Design 2022’, sponsored by Gujarat State Biotechnological Mission (GSBTM) & Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat with the theme 'Discovery, Design and Development of Vaccine in the Pharmaceutical industry'. Participants had a wonderful experience of learning the topics ‘Development of a New Hyper Immune Immunoglobulin Treatment Option for COVID-19’ from Mr. Sachin Kumar Verma (Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.) and ‘Regulatory landscape for WHO Prequalification of Vaccines’ from Mr. Subhodeep Chakraborty (Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.) along with hands-on sessions on Polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting technique from academic experts.
