Road
Rajkot is well connected to other cities of Gujarat and India by well-maintained roads. The distance between Ahmedabad to Rajkot is around 230-240 KMs (via National Highway). Buses from various routes operate to and fro from the city. It can be easily reached by bus, car and taxi from major cities including Ahmadabad, Jodhpur, Gandhinagar, Surat, New Delhi, etc. Regular buses are available (day/night) in GSRTC, Patel Tours & Travels, Neeta Tours and Travels, Eagle Corporation Pvt. Ltd., etc. RK University campus is around 10-12 KMs apart from the Rajkot City. Cabs, taxis and public transport can be used to reach the University campus.
Rail
Rajkot Railway Junction and Bhaktinagear Railway station are the major link that connects the city with the other parts of the country through rail links. Regular trains run on all the major routes and provides frequent train services to its passengers and cover cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Coimbatore, Kochi, Bhopal and other cities within the state of Gujarat. Rajkot Airport is a domestic airports and connects the city to other parts of the nation. Regular flights ply to/from the airport to all the important places and destinations (via Delhi & Mumbai). From airport, the Institute campus is approximately 18-19 KMs. Cabs, taxis and public transport can be used to reach the University campus.
The Ahmedabad Airport is an International & Domestic Airport. It is located at Ahmadabad and approx. 230-240 KMs (via National Highway) far away from Rajkot. The Ahmedabad Airport is well connected with other parts of the nation as well as abroad with good flight frequencies. One can reach Rajkot City from Ahmedabad Airport by other mode of transportation such as train or bus as mentioned above.
