About RK University
  • RK University (RKU) is the first state private university of western gujarat established under Gujarat Private University Act, 2009 by Govt. of Gujarat in year 2011 and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 22 of UGC Act, 1956.
  • Currently RKU offers more than 50 programs in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Ayurveda, Applied Science & computer science: from diploma to doctoral level.

About Capacity Building Centre
  • Capacity Building Center is established in 2019 under Academic Council of RK University, Rajkot, to empower students & teacher community to enhance thier learning experience in and around the university.
  • CBC@RK University will function and operate as an integral part of university’s policy and hold strategic importance in RK University development.

Objectives:
All activities under CBC @RK University aim:
  • to work in align with RK University vision and mission.
  • to improve the level of teaching/learning/technical competencies and skills among educators.
  • to improve the quality of higher education to enhance T/L experience among educators and students.
  • to design & provide training to schools, institutions & universities aims to change the perspective of the learning process.
  • to provide IT support in developing e-course on LMS.
  • to provide technical support as helping hand to use of technology in & out classroom.
  • to work in collaboration with organizations.
  • to increase the capacities to modernise higher education systems by providing trainings/support/resources, implementation and monitoring of reform policies.
  • to foster regional integration and cooperation across different regions through joint initiatives, sharing of good T/L practices and cooperation.
  • to support constituent colleges to address the challenges facing in HEIs.
  • to promote research to measure impact of CBC activities.
