Event Description

• Objective:

  • To raise awareness about the importance of standardization and quality maintenance by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for consumer products.
  • To highlight the effects of not using standardized products and the advantages of using BIS-standard products.

  Themes:

  • Memes or reels should focus on:
  1. The dangers or disadvantages of using non-standard (non-ISI/BIS certified) products.
  2. The benefits of using BIS/ISI-certified products in everyday life.

  Rules:

  1. Eligibility:

  o Open to all students of RK University.

  2. Submission:

  o Participants must submit their entries through the dedicated Google Forms which will be shared after the registration.
  o Only one submission per participant will be accepted.

  3. Meme Guidelines:

  o Format: The meme must be submitted in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format.
  o Size: The file size should not exceed 5 MB.
  o Content: Text and visuals must adhere to the theme of BIS standardization and quality maintenance. The meme should be easy to understand and visually appealing.
  o Creativity: Originality and creativity will be key criteria for evaluation. Copying from existing content may result in disqualification.

  4. Reel Guidelines:

  o Format: Reels must be submitted in MP4 or GIF format.
  o Duration: The reel must not exceed 60 seconds.
  o Content: Reels should clearly communicate the importance of using BIS- certified products and the consequences of using non-standard products.
  o Audio and Visual Quality: Ensure the reel has good audio quality and is visually clear.

  5. Content Requirements:

  o Entries must promote awareness about BIS standards in a positive and educational manner.
  o No inappropriate, offensive, or derogatory content will be accepted.
  o Ensure that entries do not violate copyright laws or plagiarize content.

  6. Evaluation Criteria:

  o Creativity (30%)
  o Relevance to the Theme (30%)
  o Clarity of Message (20%)
  o Visual/Aesthetic Appeal (20%)

  7. Judging Process:

  o Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from both RK University and BIS.
  o The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

  8. Prizes:

  o Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each category (Meme and Reel).
  o Winners will be announced on the day of Techno planet.

  9. General Guidelines:

  o By submitting an entry, participants grant permission to the organizers and BIS to use the content in future promotional campaigns with due credit.
  o Ensure that all submitted content adheres to community guidelines and ethical standards.
